"Never slept so many times in a hotel before!" 4 juin 2008 Robodragon, Swansea
Booked an overnight stay at the hotel mainly because it was the only one I could get for the period required. Seemed reasonable and in the area we needed for a pre-holiday stay in Brittany.
Due to (at the time) on going dispute being run by the fishermen in France our ferry into Roscoff arrived just a little bit earlier then scheduled. (3.50am the bell to wake up was sounded instead of 6.50am!) and so we arrived in Concarneau hours and hours before we planned. In fact it was so early even the Market hadn't opened. We turned up at the hotel at 11 to see when we could actually check-in and having looked at my children (and not to see myself and wife) the manager checked and told us that she had 2 rooms that were available and that we could check in straight away.
The rooms were clean and the bathrooms clean and stocked with plenty of clean towels, soap and the usual shower stuff. Though not particularly huge and with not a great deal storage space the beds were extremely comfortable and the curtains good at keeping the room dark. However hidden behind the curtain was a switch which raised and lowered an electronic shutter providing complete blackout. There is a school near the rear of the property and one of the main roads to the front but the double glazing more than keeps the room quiet.
Breakfast is served in a room behind the reception is a serve yourself buffet with the usual French breakfast items, with tea coffee and hot chocolate being provided.
There is parking just across the road from the hotel which can be a problem in the popular tourist town.
The Manager and her staff (which I would guess on the whole being her family) were exceptional, being friendly smiling and always looking to help and kept a family going homicidal with sleep deprivation! Merci

We stayed in this hotel for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The family who own this hotel were so welcoming, making our stay with children and grandparents a pleasure. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, the rooms were comfortable I can only recommend this as a great experience.
